I've started to meet some classmates through our online discussion groups. There seems to be a wide range of experience with culture and teaching generally. I anticipate there will be a great exchange of ideas in days to come.
A personal goal with this course is to orient myself around what ESL is, and how I can develop better teaching skills to assist future English language learners. I suspect this exposure will also aid my own understanding of the English language and perhaps, my study of other languages.
